There are no hidden charges !!

The car hire rates do include comprehensive insurance and V.A.T.

The client will be liable for the following normal and optional expenses:

• Daily rental charges
• Kilometre charges if applicable
• Delivery and collection charges
• Applicable excess waiver if reduced excess or full cover is selected.
• Own fuel charges
• Baby seat/s, or roof racks if required
• Installation charges for CD front loaders, if requested for a vehicle that doesn't have it as a standard accessory.

The client could also be liable for the following abnormal expenses:

• Tyre-, wheels and undercarriage damage
• Other uninsurable damages caused by road hazards, incorrect use or abuse of the vehicle
• Loss of accessories
• Valet charges for soiling of - and spillage on seats and upholstery and interior of vehicle
• The Collision, Fire & Theft (CFT) Excess: maximum liability in the event of damages or losses due to collision, fire or theft.
• Traffic fines issued to ResQ Rent A Car

The CFT Excess is an expense only in the event of damage or loss resulting from collision, fire or theft.

If the vehicle is returned safely and undamaged, there is no charge and will be refunded.

Travel to certain neighboring countries is permitted at an additional insurance charge and with written authorization and documentation. Enquire for details.

There are no additional charges for additional driver. The only requirement is that clear legible copies of identity documents/passports and drivers licenses of all possible drivers (drivers licenses must include official English translations) must be issued on receipt of a rental vehicle.

No driver may drive a vehicle without having issued copies of drivers license and identity/passport document.

Res Q Rent A Car's own fleet of pre-owned vehicles operates from a base in Johannesburg only. Vehicles may be collected or returned within a radius of 150 Kilometres from its home base, which includes the greater Johannesburg and Pretoria areas, and Gauteng province.

Partner fleet vehicles are available from airports at all major cities, and some downtown locations. These vehicles may travel between cities and need not be returned to the city where collected. One way charges are applicable.
